Talking loud…
Apple is facing a trial for not having limited the sound volume of their iPod products, inducing hearing damages to iPod users…
More than modifying their product for a few thousands of people (even if millions don’t want to limit the volume), the “users” are supposed to be “educated” by Apple, because the concept of Walkman® is so new, as everybody knows.
I remember the first iPod, and the comments back then.
One of the criteria of quality was the volume - not high enough!
Let’s not forget that the iPod is not only a portable device but also a kind jukebox that you can plug onto a set of speakers.
In France, we have a law to limit the volume, that’s why Apple had to do it.
There is no such law in the US (as far as I know).
What don’t you sew your politicians ?
In the so called (and self proclaimed) land of freedom, YOU are free to smoke 60 cigarettes a day, or listen to LOUD music. And you have so much freedom, that you can even blame someone else for that.
Please, just face the consequences on your own.
