Musical Thoughts
How Sonos Changed My Life
Those of you who know me also know that I’m fond of music.
Really fond. Can’t-live-without-it fond.
This pretty much means that I need music everywhere all the time.
Walkman, then DiscMan, then MiniDisc, then iPod solved the problem when far from home.
But Home has always been a problem.
I need to easily have access to any one of [...]
A Matter Of Taste
A few weeks ago, I went to Fat Freddy’s Drop show, in Paris Le Zenith.
I just looove this band. My favorites artists right now. (And those who know me, know what it means…)
They have a few albums produced, and are preparing the next one.
They do great live performances too, 10 or more people on the [...]
In the presence of greatness
A few weeks ago, I was posting about the Best Animation Company in the world, and mainly the people who make it what it is.
And last week-end, I went to see Prince performing the last show of 21 Nights in London.
I’ll pass on the already great experience he was offering to European people : 21 [...]
Going the distance
I was at Sly and The Family Stone show in Paris L’Olympia the day before yesterday.

Apparently, for once, I was at The Place To [...]

Last week, I went to see Prince show in Montreux, at the Jazz Festival.
A 2h30 show, followed by a 40 mn AfterParty (yes a little short, but soooo good).
Nothing special to say about that, just showing off.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the CDs.
(also, during the wait in the Stravinsky Auditorium, I [...]
(Not so) new generation
And, talking about music, here is the first post about it.
It’s about a few guys and a gal’.
They all deserve a solo carrier, but it’s hard for young musicians these days, so they hang tight, together.
They play a music at the fragile intersection of Funk, Soul and Jazz, remixed with today’s technics.
I have every piece [...]
18 hours a day
There is one thing I do all day long. And when I say all day long, I mean it.
It’s listening to music. It’s just vital for me, like breathing.
I wake, I put on music, and when I arrive at work, I turn the music on before turning the iPod off…
So naturally, I’ll write about music [...]
